More: Milo was diagnosed with lymphoma when he was 14 years old. We chose to do chemotherapy in hope that we'd have another few months with him. He not only astounded us, but his medical team as well, as he went on to live another 18 months! He was just as active during this time and continued to have a ball at our lake house swimming and going for boat rides. I'm forever grateful to cancer research and the strides that have been made in treating canine cancer. Those last 18 months were truly a gift.
