More: Dixie Mae was a puppy when we got her my son brought her home after someone he knew was not gonna keep her. She is a very protective dog. She helped raise a litter of kittens we found in our back yard. She would actually carry them in her mouth and keep them all together and lick them clean. She follows me everywhere and will ride with us anywhere. She’s the best dog we have ever had.
