More: I found Ace on a poodle rescue site. I adopted him from some people in NH in 2014 when he was 3. I had lost my wife of 12 years to cancer the previous fall. I was broken , lost, Ace saved my life. He insisted that I live , and would settle for nothing less than full participation in life with him. That was 7 rears ago and we are inseparable. I can’t imagine my life without him. I think that dogs really are the only ones who love unconditionally.
