More: AJ retired from Search and Rescue after many years helping Police and Local and State Rescue Teams. She helped train local CERT groups, too. An unfortunate accident left her paralyzed in her back legs, but her spirit to help others never stopped. We made her a wheelchair and she was excited to visit nursing homes and Senior Day Centers. She was the happiest when she was helping others. So, her last act of service was to donate the wheelchair we had made for her to another family that couldn’t afford one. I miss her daily...
