More: We adopted Alex from our local animal shelter when he was just 5 months old. He had lived on the streets as a stray, then someone took him in. When he ran away, and the shelter found him, they called his owner and they no longer wanted him. That was the best day of our lives because we had the fortune of adopting him. He has saved us as much as we saved him. He is fun, smart, quirky and loves people. He makes every day brighter.
