More: Alfie is a beautiful dog with a big, loyal heart. He’s been a hugely important member of our family for 10 years now but we nearly lost him to cancer when he was only 6 months old. Our clever vet took a nasty tumour from his tongue then and a few years later he had surgery to remove a tumour on his leg. Thankfully Alfie is resilient and has moved gracefully into his senior years. He loves a beach, a wood, a river, a stinky pond and a cosy bed but most of all he loves being with his humans and we love him to bits!
