More: Ali is in formal training with BluePath Service Dogs to become an autism service dog for a child. Her primary role will be to provide safety for a child out in public. The dogs are trained to prevent a child from bolting, either into the street or away from parents in a crowded area. They also provide children with much needed companionship, increased social acknowledgment from peers, opportunities for independence and increased levels of confidence. Ali is gentle, sweet, and loving. She brightens up the day of anyone that she meets. We are all looking forward to seeing the difference that Ali will make in the life of a child someday.
