More: Allie loved the water and most of all Lake Superior. The minute we would get close to the shoreline her nose would be out the window and she would begin her excited whines. She loved to camp with us and every year we would try to get her to the Upper Peninsula to swim in the Great Lakes. We just recently had to say goodbye to her in October of this year, exactly a month before her 12th birthday, to let her cross the rainbow bridge.
