More: Alvin was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma 9 months ago. Surgery removed half of his left upper jaw and 5 teeth including his upper canine. His photo shows his exposed lower canine, lovingly referred to as his “snaggletooth.” It is always exposed due to the loss of his upper teeth. Alvin seems very proud of his left profile. He feels it gives him character! Today was a recheck appointment at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Clinic. Alvin remains cancer free. He is looking ahead to a happy future!
