More: Amani was born in the Caribbean, the U.S. Virgin Islands. She was flown with her three sisters in from the overflowing shelters, considered to be a ‘Pandemic Pet.’ How lucky I was to pass by the shelter with my mom that day! I adopted her the same day she came in! What an eventful day for her! She can be a bit shy, but when she opens up, you have a 30 lb, playful 5-month puppy who’s favorite game is tug-of-war and fetch. Suffering from Major Depression Disorder, I can truly say Amani saved my life! She’s the joy of my life!
