More: Amber loves children. Each time she walks by one of our grandkids, she gives them a big sloppy kiss. Our grandkids laugh and hug her neck. Amber loves the kids attention, letting them crawl all over her. When the kids take a hike to the pond or creek, she always keeps them in her sight. She is an outstanding farm dog. You wouldn't think of a German Shepherd guarding our goats, chickens, guineas and horses, but she does. She loves to curl up at the foot of our bed and warm our feet at night. Our best friend!
