Yesterday we had a milestone in that adventure, scoring a top score in our NAVHDA Natural Ability test - 112 Points and a Prize 1.” Going into the test I already knew he was capable of this, honestly capable of even more, but being able to show up and do it all with such style on the day it counts doesn’t always work out. Progressing with Gus this season has primarily been about preparation for hunting season and making sure I will have two reliable, confident dogs I can safely hunt behind.
