More: Artemis is a tripod and a cancer survivor! We adopted her right after her leg was amputated. It is unknown how her leg became hurt beyond repair but there is speculation that she got it caught in a trap. She was used for breeding and then abandoned. A year after we adopted her we found out she had a cancerous growth on her back. We were able to take care of it and now she is loving life! We are giving her the best life we can and she gives us unconditional love. She is an absolute sweetheart even after all she’s been through! She’s perfect for the cover of Orvis!
