More: Ash was rescued from animal control in West Virginia when he was about a year old. We know nothing about his life before we adopted him. After he was adopted, we had his DNA tested and he came back as a designer doggy- 50% boxer and 50 % American Staffordshire Terrier (both lines were pure). He took quickly to life in the suburbs and enjoys ruling over his backyard as well as the sidewalk in front of our house.
