More: Every person and living thing is his best friend, even the ones he hasn’t met yet...all of the blankets and pillows too. He’s quite an athlete but also hangs out with my geriatric patients now that he’s retired. He chooses strangers in crowds to lean into. They usually tell me they are “going through something” and needed the extra TLC. I don’t know how he knows, he just does. Plus, he’s got sticky paws with food left anywhere he can reach (which is all surfaces of the house since he’s a tall dude).
