More: Both our dogs are rescues with Charley being adopted from Ridgebacks & Friends in Souther California. She was a challenge as a young dog as she was a family dog that was basically a yard dog that they stated she was not good with kids. This couldn’t be further from the truth and has been a great companion to our now 13 y/o daughter. Aspen is a young puppy we found on the streets with her litter mate. After calling local shelters and not being able to find an owner, we ended up keeping her and giving her a good home where she’s loved having a big sister.
