More: Auriga (oh-REE-gah) is the perfect trail dog, and we have been on many an adventure together. She was adopted 6 years ago from a shelter in Shreveport LA. I did a DNA test on her and she is half mountain cur, with the other half Australian shepherd, Plottt hound, German Shepherd and Chow Chow. She also participates in high level obedience competitions and is a trick dog champion! Her favorite trick is 'orbit', which consists of circling me while moving backwards.
