More: Ava was taken from a drug raid in the inner City. She was only 7 weeks old. Her ears were already cropped using a box cutter and were infected as was one of her legs. She was skin and bones. I fostered her for our local shelter and then decided to adopt this sweet girl. She has grown up to be the best dog who loves humans and other animals. I could not ask for a better companion.
