More: Axle was born in Iowa where he was trained for waterfowl hunting until he was sold to an Ohio couple who trained him to find shed antlers. We bought Axle at Blue Clay Kennels in Kimbolton Ohio as a 1 year old trained shed antler dog. Axle has made 2 trips to Kansas where he does most of his shed hunting and he found his first 4 sheds on his own this past March. Axle has been a wonderful addition to our family and we look forward to our future shed hunting trips and building our bond.
