More: Bailey passed away from hemangiosarcoma - a very aggressive and untreatable cancer - this past April. Bailey loved to be outside; whether sunbathing in our city garden, hiking the woods of the Catskills or Vermont, or checking out the beach in Acadia or Martha’s Vineyard - she loved to explore new places and take in all the smells. She would faithfully patrol our Catskills property several times a day, making sure the forest residents stayed in their places, and police the squirrels in our city garden. Before she passed, she was doggedly working on digging a hole to China in our flowerbed. She had soulful “human” eyes that looked right through you and a quirky personality that included using stubbornness to get what she wanted (and she usually did). She was particular about people which made her love all the more special. She was a first class napper and loved lounging on the couch, kicking all the throw pillows off except the one she would lay her head on. And she was a great cuddler, especially with her mom. She was the best pup and we miss her like crazy.
