More: Bailey was a wonderful companion and best friend. I adopted him at 9 months of age from the local Humane Society. Although he wasn't a trained bird dog, he was exceptionally skilled at flushing grouse so they flew right across the trail in front of me. I think he knew how much I enjoyed seeing the birds. Bailey developed a tumor on his heart and I lost him in December 2019. This photo is one of many that show what a beautiful, majestic creature he was.
