More: I've had dogs my whole life, but Bandit has taught me the most about what it is to be a dog owner. She is constant and obedient, she is skittish and needy for assurance from us, she is an explorer but completely devoted to me, her most important "job". Bandit is a working dog and lives up to the characteristics of the herding breeds, solely on instinct. Living with her is truly getting to bring a piece of the natural world indoors and into our family.
