More: A friend posted this about Bao Bao: “She is pure joy and spoiled rotten. Never met a stranger. No bad days.” Bao means “dumpling” in Chinese, so named because as a puppy she looked like the cutest little dumpling. Bao is all heart. Anyone wary of pit bulls should meet Bao, who recently found a wounded mouse and tenderly tried to lick it back to health. Bao is also exuberant; she’s as excited on mile 10 of a hike as she is on mile 1, while proudly carrying her and her doggy brother Hector’s water in her hiking pack. If she’s laying down, there’s a good chance that her cat Bernie is curled up on her tummy. She’s also uncomplicated: everything is her favorite thing! Our daily 3+ mile walks are instant stress-relievers, as one can’t help but smile as Bao Bao enthusiastically wags her tail the entire time!
