More: Bella is a fierce little individual. She is diabetic (2 insulin injections, twice a day for 4 1/2 years now). Had a throat surgery last year, cancer surgery last year (her second), has pancreatitis, a liver mass, is almost deaf and has limited vision. Yet....she still chases my shelter dog around the island, switches beds at least 5 times a night and loves car rides. She is almost human - she has a soul.
