More: We learned of Benny’s love of hiking after taking him on a trip to Acadia National Park - days after having a cancerous tumor removed from his side. We were nervous that it might be too much activity for him, but it was clear very early in the trip that he was in heaven hiking the different trails of the park. We now regularly take him to our local Durand Eastman County Park - which always ends with a dip in Lake Ontario.
