More: Bernie rescued us and came into our lives two years ago. He travelled to NJ from Georgia where he was found as a stray dog but we could immediately tell he had a home before as he was house trained and new a lot of commands. He was a little shy at first and took time to trust his new hoomans. Bernie loves outdoors, whether it be frolicking in the snow or going on long hikes on the mountain or the beach!
