More: Bert joined our family when he was just 9 weeks old. He was a released puppy from Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization that breeds dogs to be of service to people in need. He didn’t quite pass all of the tests he needed to become a guide dog, but we were the lucky ones, because he is the sweetest, gentlest, most chill dog we could ever have asked for! His favorite activity is hiking with me and my husband and our two teenage sons and his favorite food is pizza crusts!
