More: Bianca came to us from Canine Companions, the largest service dog training organization in the US. We had been on a waitlist for four years, eager to adopt any dog who did not go forward after the first year of training, to be paired with a veteran or disabled child. Due to her “strong prey drive”, she was found too easily distracted to be a service dog, but she is the perfect dog for us. So smart and so sweet — definitely worth the wait!
