More: Bo is a rescue who was dumped as a puppy when the previous owner found out Bo is deaf. Bo is a very intelligent dog. He follows and obeys with American Sign Language and hand signals. Bo loves hiking and chasing a tennis ball. Bo is 8 years old but acts like a puppy. Bo reads signals from our other dog. Some signals are hard to see but Bo knows what each signal means. Bo loves watching animals on TV especially horses. Although deaf Bo would have made a great cattle dog. He looks to me for commands and follows them. You would never know Bo is deaf unless told. As you can see in this picture Bo smiles all the time. He is the happiest dog especially when hiking or playing in the snow.
