Bo

This was Bo's second year duck hunting. Bo earned his AKC Senior Hunter Title earlier this summer. We shot this Pintail in the panhandle of Texas and it sailed over 200 yards. We had birds working and were going to wait until after the hunt to try to find it. While we were hunting we noticed a hawk circling near where the Pintail went down and eventually dropping down on top of the bird. We had a break in the action and I sent Bo on a blind retrieve. Once he got close to where the bird was I gave him a couple of casts, the hawk flew away and Bo got the bird before too much damage was done.
