More: Boba-Kai is a rescued Cane Corso mastiff. He was found being sold out of a car in a store parking lot. After seeing he was deformed (born with 3 toes on rear lego, severely cow hocked and unable to walk properly) and much negotiation, we were able to take him home to do everything we can and keep him comfortable. He’s made it to (almost) 6 years old so far despite veterinary recommendations to euthanize as an 8 week old baby due to the “money pit” he would be to us. He unfortunately developed arthritis and hip/elbow dysplasia by the age of 1. We’ve been lucky to keep him happy and mobile with exercises and supplements.
