More: This spot on the North Platte River was Boone’s favorite place to jump in and swim. Our hearts are in pieces as Boone just recently crossed the rainbow bridge on February 15, 2022 (complications from a bowel obstruction surgery). He was such an amazing dog and a huge part of our family even though he was only with us for a short time. He had a heart of gold and had such a goofy, adventurous spirit. My family and I are still in shock and we miss him so much. My heart is just heavy and I can’t believe he is gone. This is my tribute to my Boone.
