More: Bowie is a rescue who was abandoned in Turkey and lived a part of his young life on the streets. We adopted him through a wonderful organization in DC that brings abandoned dogs from Turkey to the US. We met him at JFK airport and brought him home. He is the only dog I have seen play by himself. He takes a ball and throws it into the air and then catches it or chases it down and throws it again.
