More: Brooke is always up for an adventure. She loves going backpacking and used to carry some of her own supplies. Last year she went through first one surgery on her right rear knee and after recovery from that, it became apparent that she needed another surgery on her left rear knee. We learned that herding dogs tend to have rear knee trouble because of their twisting and turning while playing or actually herding if they are working dogs. She now has two titanium knees and is finally back up to her old active self. We look forward to getting out into the back country again with her this fall.
