More: Bucky was in the NEADS Service Dog Training Program. He lived and was trained at MCI Framingham and we would get him on weekends for socialization. At about 8 months Bucky was released from the program for health reasons (under weight and intestinal problems). We were able to adopt him. It turns out that within a month of just being “a regular dog” his health improved. Two years later, Bucky is healthy, happy and loves the beach.
