More: Rescued from a shelter as a senior dog, originally a stray, he was adopted out two different times and returned to the shelter each time. His first owner passed away and his second owner was unable to care for him after a medical emergency. This little old guy is so adaptable - he hikes and paddle boards with us and loves adventure! After a long day he will nap and lay his head on your chest, and we joke that he is checking our heartbeat to make sure we’re healthy enough to keep him for the long haul!
