More: Bunny is a four year old miniature dachshund. She had seven homes before she was even a year old. No one seem to want her until I saw her picture on Facebook, and I instantly knew her forever home was with me. I immediately dropped everything I was doing to drive over an hour away to meet her. We bonded as soon as we first met. She loved me and much as I loved her. I could not believe how she had been through so many homes, and that she’s been neglected time and again. I took her home that same day. It was Easter weekend, and I couldn’t decide on a name for her until I saw a rabbit in my front yard. It made since that it was Easter weekend and this was a new life for her, so I named her Bunny. The name suits her perfectly as she is as sweet and cuddly as a little bunny with tons of love to give.
