More: Buoy is a rescue through Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue. His demeanor was such that we got right on having him certified as a therapy dog through Pet Partners where, until quarantine, he worked in a closed psychiatric unit of the state run Greater Bridgeport Mental Health facility. He is the calmest, most gentle and amazing dog we have ever owned. He even helped us foster a pregnant pup who had 9 puppies and he let them all crawl all over him. He is a true ambassador for rescues and therapy animals. Gotcha date is March 21 and his birthdate is approximate as he was at large when rescued.
