More: Cadie is a super sweet smart dog. Training has gone very well. One thing I can't take credit for training is her nose. I decided to train her to stay hidden in her dog blind where she stays until needed. I don't have to worry about movement around the blind as birds approach, having her run through the blind with unsecured guns and/or unsuspecting hunters, or where she is when the shooting starts. Like her mother, I've fed her nothing but Purina Sport Performance and have continued with the recent formulation and labeling change. She is super fast and lean. It's wonderful to have a dog that can cover some ground in any field condition, yet know's how to "place" and stay in one spot on the kitchen floor and not bother anyone.
