More: We adopted Casey when she was 2. She came from Arkansas and was obviously abused. She had trust issues with men but we adopted her and she quickly adjusted to our family and home. During the adjustment period (I as a first time dog owner) trained Casey to ring a bell to go outside in about a week. She still does this. She is the most kindest, loving energetic dog. She is smart and very much respects our commands and rules. She is protective of us but once she knows there is no harm, will drop and roll on her back for her favorite belly rubs. Everyone that meets her can’t believe how smart and well behaved she is. I keep telling her that she has to live forever. 💗
