More: Cassius was on his 2nd home when we got him. He went from an underweight, neglected and unloved puppy, to a happy, healthy and family member. I always say we didn't rescue him, but he rescued us with his unconditional love and joy. His breed often is the source of much debate and discrimination, but Cassius has represented everything that is good about his breed. His love of people and outdoors has changed the perspectives of so many strangers we have encountered and it is our hope he will continue to be a source of change for those who have negative views on many large breeds.
