More: I adopted Charlie from a shelter just outside of Dallas, TX. He was an older dog when I got him and it was clear he had been through some rough times; he had heartworm and one side of his body is embedded with birdshot. He now lives a much happier life with his pals Doozie (Lab-hound mix) and Nelson (snowshoe Siamese cat). He loves chasing ghost crabs on Broadkill Beach in Delaware.
