More: We rescued (and named) Chico in March 2019 through a Minnesota based rescue organization. He was on death row in Texas after being found as a stray and moved to multiple shelters to delay his near execution while attempting to find his owner or a placement. We just happened to find his mug shot on Petfinder, while looking to add a new family member after the loss of one. We scrambled to get him off death row in time and have never looked back. Karma and all our puppy angels were on our side:) This pic was taken on the first camping adventure together, on a morning hike after crossing the swinging bridge at Jay Cooke State Park.
