More: Chief is easy going and friendly. He likes to run. He likes to chase squirrels and leads me to believe he can get close to climbing trees. He also barks at grackles in a serious manner. As a watchdog, he’s very quiet until the moment he launches into what resembles a cross between a bear and lion...loud and endless. And he has presented himself more than once as the alpha dog. Toddlers find him almost as adorable as I do. He has a great smile. Loving, kind, saggy tail. My best friend. Chief.
