Churro is a reactive dog and struggles with anxiety and used to act aggressively when scared. With the help of positive reinforcement, dog trainers, and behavioral medication, Churro’s world has opened up and he’s been able to go so many places on the West Coast! He loves hiking, especially if he’s leading the group, playing in the snow, and raising awareness about reactive dogs and de-stigmatizing mental health struggles and behavioral medications.
