Clay

Off-Season River Retrieval

More: "Clay Dog" (Clay for short) was rescued by my brother after he was abandoned as a puppy on the side of a Texas highway. He's a mutt for sure, but by far, the most versatile hunting dog to ever be a part of our family. He's drawn to all things involving water and is a skilled upland sidekick during pheasant season. After the wing shooting season is over, Clay shines in the late winter fields as a shed dog. Clay calls the east end of Long Island home and spends his vacations hiking and hunting in Chester, Vermont as well as the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania.
