More: Clemens (Clem) was rescued at a year of age. He was petrified of everything and everyone. It took six months and innumerable hot dogs to just get him out the front door but we rarely made it beyond the front walk. Finally we drove him to a trailhead. Once we coerced him out of the car and onto the trail he absolutely lit up. Clem became a brand new dog- he’s a hiker for sure and we savor every Clemventure we go on with him!
