More: Cleo and her litter of four other puppies were abandoned at a hunt club in South Carolina. The five pups stayed together long enough to be rescued. They were treated and then sent north care of New England Labrador Rescue. She came to us skinny and afraid, but is now a well adjusted and sweet hiking companion.
