More: This half brother/sister team came into our lives after we lost our two girls at 16 during the pandemic. This is home that has not been without a Dachshund in over 30 years. To say it was a quiet, lonely place is an understatement. We had our hearts set on 2 puppies from Maine in late August but fate intervened and the entire litter was lost to the parvo virus. Along came these two and they have stolen our hearts. They are scrappy, independent but so full of love. We were not sure about puppies as we neared our 60s, but these little pups are heaven scent and we couldn't be happier.
