More: Cooper was a very special surprise Christmas gift from my Husband. Sadly he got away from me one day during the start of Covid and was hit by a car breaking both front legs. We could have put him down, but we looked in his eyes and just couldn't bare to do it. He had two surgeries repairing both legs with pins and rods. We took turns sleeping with him for almost two months to keep him down so he could heal. We are still paying off the credit cards we used to pay for his surgery, but we would not change a thing.
